I Am Not Ready To Face Arsenal With Another Club – Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is “not ready” to face off against Arsenal with another club.

Arsene Wenger officially brought down the curtain on his 22-year managerial spell with the North London outfit on Sunday afternoon with a 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

Wenger has already been approached by a number of sides, including offers from Premier League teams, but the 28-year-old has hinted that his next job will lie away from English football.

Asked about the prospect of coming up against Arsenal in the future, Wenger told reporters: “I’m not ready for that at the moment. That would be very difficult. I don’t envisage that at the moment.

“I had offers, yes of course, but I did not speak to anybody. I had many offers. When you come out of such a long process you cannot jump out the next morning and go to work somewhere else. It’s impossible.
